Haul ("we", "our", "the app") is an iOS application that helps users identify clothing items from screenshots and find where to buy them. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting your personal data.
2. Data We Collect
When you use Haul, we may collect the following data:
- Account information: Email address and authentication data when you create an account (via email, Apple Sign In, or Google Sign In).
- Images you share: Screenshots and photos you submit for scanning. These are processed to identify clothing items and are stored temporarily to deliver results.
- Scan history: Records of your scans and identified products, stored to let you revisit past results.
- Favorites: Products you save to your favorites list.
- Price alerts: Products you track for price changes.
- Device information: Basic device identifiers for authentication and app functionality.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data exclusively to:
- Identify clothing items in your screenshots using AI
- Find matching products from online retailers
- Store your scan history, favorites, and price alerts
- Authenticate your account
- Improve the accuracy of our product matching
4. Third-Party Services
Haul uses the following third-party services to provide its functionality:

- Apple Sign In / Google Sign In: For secure authentication.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers. Images are stored temporarily for processing and scan history. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data: View your scan history, favorites, and account information in the app.
- Delete your data: Use the "Delete Account" option in Settings to permanently delete your account and all associated data (scan history, favorites, price alerts).
- Export your data: Contact us at haulapp.com@gmail.com to request a data export.
7. Camera & Photo Access
Haul requests access to your camera and photo library solely to let you scan outfits. We only access photos you explicitly select or capture. We do not access your full photo library or upload photos without your action.
8. Children's Privacy
Haul is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
